A verified 500 USDG purchase ↗ bought 9.33 million HUNTER shortly before the 9.4 million transfer to 0x…dEaD ↗. The remaining 67,034 HUNTER came from tokens the wallet already held; no extra purchase cost is attributed to them here. Sending tokens to a dead address does not lower reported total supply. The buybacks call burn(), which does. These totals cover the shown transactions and contracts, not every possible HUNTER burn or purchase.
01 / The contracts
Two ways to burn.
Both contracts buy HUNTER with USDG and call the token’s burn() function. Their buying rules are different.
Open buyback contract01
Buy and burn.
When funded, a due buy spends 8% of this contract’s USDG balance each hour, with a 1 USDG floor (or whatever remains) and a 25 USDG cap. It buys regardless of price, so a poor exchange rate is possible. Funds sent to this contract cannot be withdrawn.
The launch pot has its own recent-price check. A due buy can be refused when the check has insufficient observations or the offered price is worse than its limit. USDG stays in the pot if a buy is refused.
“Eligible” means the hourly wait has passed. It does not promise a buy at that time. Anyone can call a due buy; an automated keeper normally checks the contracts.
02 / Transaction proof
Recent burns.
Only successful transactions with a matching HUNTER burn event appear here. Check every receipt yourself.
Reading recent transactions…
Lifetime totals come from each contract’s on-chain counters at the snapshot block. The list shows recent transactions, not the full history.
